What is Humans vs Nations?

Humans vs Nations drops the normal country-versus-country setup. Players are on the tribal side and the nations are held by AI. It is a mode in the map menu, not a regional coastline. How many humans share a team, and whether the 80% team wording is used, was not broken out beyond the general team victory line seen in play.

The official description says 88 player nations and hundreds of tribes. Smaller boards are separate menu entries. This wiki does not have a nation count for each of them.
